The Cottage
At Drangway you will find character cottage charm, creaky floorboards combined with modern facilities. As we go there whenever we can, everything is provided for a comfortable home away from home including books, Scrabble, a digital television with dvd and playing cards.
The front door of the cottage opens into a beamed dining room with stone walls and a large open fireplace. Also on the ground floor is a modern well-equipped galley kitchen with a lovely, softly worn slate flagstone floor and beamed ceiling.
The staircase turns its way up to the first floor landing and a choice of four rooms: a light and comfortable sitting room, a low-ceilinged double bedroom with a stone mullion window overlooking the cobbled Gibraltar Square and hills beyond, a single bedroom looking out over Church Square and a half bath/shower room with a basin and WC.
Drangway has gas central heating and all power, fresh clean bed linen and towels are provided in the rental price. There is on-street car parking and, sorry, no pets.
The cottage is let Friday to Friday to avoid the busier West Country Saturday changeover day.
